Our Story

Layers & Flavors is more than a café — it is a place where family, creativity, and culture come together.

Founded by Sasi Hebel and Edward Hebel, Layers & Flavors was created from their shared passion for bringing people together through food and creativity. As a family-owned business, every part of the café reflects the things they love most: bold flavors, welcoming hospitality, and the joy of making something unique.

Sasi grew up surrounded by the vibrant food culture of Thailand. Her love for cooking and sharing authentic flavors inspired the menu at Layers & Flavors. From refreshing matcha and boba drinks to Thai tea and flavorful street bites, each item is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients — locally sourced when possible and complemented with select ingredients imported from Thailand to keep the flavors authentic.

Edward brings a different kind of creativity to the café. As the founder of 3DWARD, he has a passion for design and 3D printing technology. Inside Layers & Flavors, guests can experience this creative world through the 3D maker corner, where toys, gifts, and creative designs are printed layer by layer. It adds a fun and interactive element that sparks curiosity for kids and adults alike.

Together, Sasi and Edward created Layers & Flavors to be more than just a place to grab a drink. It’s a space where people can relax, enjoy bold flavors, discover creative ideas, and share moments with family and friends.

Meet the Family

Sasi Hebel – Flavor Creator

Sasi is the heart behind the flavors at Layers & Flavors. Inspired by her Thai roots and love for sharing food with others, she brings bold and comforting flavors to the café through matcha drinks, Thai tea, boba creations, and Thai street bites. Her goal is simple — create drinks and food that make people smile and feel welcome.

Edward Hebel – Maker & 3D Printing Creator

Edward is the creative mind behind the 3DWARD maker experience inside Layers & Flavors. With a passion for design and 3D printing, he brings technology and creativity into the café by printing toys, gifts, and unique creations right in the shop. His work adds a fun and interactive layer to the café experience.
